The accident occurred on the night of Thursday 10 June to Friday 11 June. The relatives reported to the police about the disappearance of two young men near the village of Ustechko.
A friend from a neighboring village came to visit a 16-year-old local resident. They went fishing at night and did not return home.
Law enforcement officers, military personnel of the National Guard, KORD, special police companies and rescuers were involved in the search for the missing.
The weather conditions made the search much more difficult.
On Sunday, June 13, the body of one of the victims was found along the river, and on the morning of June 14, divers retrieved another victim from the water.
The investigators entered the data into the ERDR in accordance with Article 115 (premeditated murder marked “accident”) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
The final cause of death will be determined by experts.
