A 20-year-old man was seriously injured after being trapped under his tractor which lay on the pavement in Dolomieu.
The accident occurred on Monday, June 14, shortly before 4:30 p.m.
For an as yet undetermined reason, the tractor, which was traveling on Route de la Chapelle-de-la-Tour (RD 16), fell on its side.
The firefighters intervened as did a Smur team from Bourgoin-Jallieu. Once released, the young man was helicoptered to the Grenoble hospital.
The road was closed to traffic to allow the helicopter to land and time to evacuate the tractor.
