After Kollegah released his single “Rotlicht” and a music video on Friday (for which Mostafa El Garhy took over the direction), the 36-year-old secured first place in the YouTube music trend charts not only on YouTube with one million views. It also landed third on Spotify on the day of publication with half a million streams and is currently number one in the German Rap Top 200.
On Friday his rap colleague Azet released his album NEUE WELT and released the music video for his single “Freilang”, which was produced by Lucry & Suena. With his video single, the 28-year-old managed to reach number two on the trend charts with almost 700,000 views on YouTube. He has now also secured third place in the German Rap Top 200 on Spotify.
The Italian ESC winners are particularly present in the official German charts. Måneskin achieved three places in the top 25. While their song “Zitti E Buoni”, with which they won the ESC for Italy, landed in 23rd place, the band made it with a cover version of Frankie Valli & The Four Seasons from her album CHOSEN, released in 2017, to reach number 16. In addition, they topped this with their single “I Wanna Be Your Slave”, which took seventh place and also celebrated success on Spotify with over 400,000 streams in second place in the German Spotify top 200.
The top three of the German YouTube music video charts for the week from June 4th to 10th were exclusively made by German rap artists. Azets and Tayna’s single “Ti Harro” landed in first place with over a million views, while Loredana and Mozzik came in second with “War of the Roses” with almost 750,000 views, and Shirin David came in third with 710,000 views for “Ich may das” .
