Football, Molde | The online newspaper experiences: Feyenoord with bid for Molde player

The Dutch big club Feyenoord wants to buy Marcus Holmgren Pedersen.

According to Nettavisen’s experience, the Rotterdam club Feyenoord has placed a bid of just over one million euros for Molde’s defender. According to the information, the total framework for the agreement on Holmgren Pedersen is up to NOK 15 million, where various bonuses are included in the agreement.

The 20-year-old was picked up from Tromsø before the 2020 season and can now be on his way to the Netherlands only one and a half years later. The Alfheim club is also entitled to a percentage of a resale.

The online newspaper has tried to get a comment from Molde director Ole Erik Stavrum. He has not responded to the inquiries.

The right-back has been on the field in four of seven games for Molde in the Eliteserien this season. He impressed several European clubs during Molde’s Europa League play-offs earlier this spring.

Holmgren Pedersen played all 90 minutes in the four matches in the playoffs before Molde was knocked out over two matches against Granada.

According to the information Nettavisen is sitting on, the Eredivisie club will want to secure the Norwegian in the summer window and has now taken the step of submitting a specific bid. As far as Nettavisen understands, the negotiations will now be in a final phase.

Feyenoord finished in 5th place in the series in the Netherlands last season, but qualified for European games by winning the play-off final against Utrecht.

Feyenoord is considered one of the “big three” in the Netherlands. The club has won the series a total of 15 times and also has one European Cup title. Earlier this week, former Rosenborg talent Sondre Skogen signed a new contract with the Rotterdam club after being part of the club’s U21 team since 2020.

Molde has several players who can disappear from the club during 2021. Goalkeeper Andreas Linde, as well as national team players Fredrik Aursnes and Stian Gregersen will all be wanted by European clubs. The first two are also on an outgoing contract in the Romsdals club.

According to German Sky Sports 2. Bundesliga club Werder Bremen will be interested in securing Aursnes.
