42 new corona cases in Hamburg – incidence value increases slightly | NDR.de – Nachrichten – Hamburg

According to the social authority, a total of 76,927 people in the Hanseatic city have tested positive for the corona virus since the beginning of the pandemic. According to estimates by the Robert Koch Institute (RKI), around 74,200 people in Hamburg can now be considered recovered.

Incidence value at 15.9

The number of new infections per 100,000 inhabitants in the past seven days rose slightly to 15.9. On Sunday the incidence value was 15.1, on Monday a week ago it was 20.7.

No further death

According to the social authorities, 56 corona patients are being treated in Hamburg’s hospitals as of Friday, 30 of whom are being cared for in intensive care units. According to the RKI, 1,580 people have died in connection with Covid 19 in the Hanseatic city since the beginning of the pandemic. No further death was registered within one day.
