The Portuguese Dias, in Turkey-Wales, with Hernández Hernández as VAR assistant

Madrid, Jun 14 (EFE) .- Portuguese referee Artur Dias will direct the Turkey-Wales match at the Baku Olympic Stadium on Wednesday 15 (6:00 p.m.), corresponding to the second day of group A, in which his compatriot Joao Pinheiro will act as VAR, with Spanish Alejandro Hernández Hernández as one of his assistants.
Also Spanish Íñigo Prieto will be another of the VAR attendees, along with Frenchman Francois Letexier. The Polish Bartosz Frankowski will be the fourth official and in the wings the assistants will be the Portuguese Rui Tavares and Paulo Soares.
In the other group A match to be played in two days, Italy-Switzerland (9:00 p.m.) at the Olympic Stadium in Rome, the main referee will be Russian Sergeiv Karasev, with German Bastian Dankert leading the VAR and English Michael Oliver as fourth official.
For the Group B match between Finland and Russia (3:00 pm) in Saint Petersburg, UEFA appointed Dutchman Danny Makkelie as the main referee, with his compatriot Pol van Boekel in the VAR and Romanian Istvan Kovacs as fourth official.
