The Rumjacks tiran de nostalgia en el videoclip de “Rhythm Of Her Name”

The Australian band of celtic punk The Rumjacks recovers this week the song “Rhythm Of Her Name” from his latest LP “Hestia” and gives you a new video clip with a nostalgic aura that seeks closeness in times of distance.

We have to go back to March to remember the premiere of the last long work of the Australian quintet of celtic folk, The Rumjacks. It was on that same LP, “Hestia”, where we were presented for the first time “Rhythm Of Her Name”, a theme that the band has decided to force us to jump to the fore by granting a new video clip. But why this topic? And why now?

“One of those songs that can only emerge from tragedy is” Rhythm Of Her Name. ” With hideous subtexts in both the lyrics and the video, the combination of both has resulted in one of the works of which I am most proud as a composer and filmmaker. Being able to intertwine them to tell a story (without revealing the true meaning of the song) has really made it shine ”, account Mike Rivkees, member of The Rumjacks and director of the video, on the meaning of the piece.

This faded video clip seeks to turn confinement and memory into freedom and hope for a reunion that will come sooner or later. That minimalist staging added to those visual cuts in Super 8 perfectly season a theme loaded with nostalgia and energy.
