Unfortunately, Michael couldn’t finish his tour on Saturday – he got stuck in the elevator of a customer!

He was locked in the elevator for a good half an hour, writes the Hermes messenger in one Nordhäuser Facebook group – It was pretty hot inside. Michael estimates up to 40 degrees.

He was not afraid and remained calm. But: “It was not a good feeling to get stuck in the elevator because the air was not so good and it was getting warmer”, says Michael Thüringen24.

Fortunately, a nice resident recognized the situation and alerted the fire brigade. The emergency services would then have freed him. “I had to be taken to the hospital because I suffered a circulatory collapse and the doctor forbade me to continue driving.”

How important it is to him to satisfy his customers becomes clear on Facebook. Because on the same evening Michael told his customers: “I just wanted to apologize to all the customers who were waiting for their parcel today.”

It was just a matter of concern to him to educate the waiting Hermes customers, says Michael. And that goes down very well! Almost 300 comments are now under his post. There were well over 200 likes.
