The XD3 and XD4 design models follow what has changed at BMW. These are redesigned headlights at the front and rear and larger front kidneys.

Alpina has added its traditional elements to them, such as multi-spoke twenty-inch wheels, which can be enlarged by two inches on request. Another is the lower part of the front bumper with the optional Alpina inscription, as well as optional stripes on the sides, interior upholstery or painting.

However, the area in front under the hood mainly takes care of the extremely interesting context. It was there that the engineers from Alpina literally conjured up magic when they played with an in-line six-cylinder, to which four turbochargers now supply juice. The diesel engine then delivers 394 horsepower and a respectable 800 Nm of torque.

As for the rest, Alpina will only supply the car with an automatic eight-speed transmission and all-wheel drive. The car should accelerate from 0 to 100 km / h in 4.6 seconds, which is 3 tenths better than the BMW X3 M. The XD3 has a top speed of 267 km / h, the XD4 even 268 km / h.

The price of the XD3 is set at 85,900 euros, ie 2.2 million crowns, the coupe version is approximately 100,000 crowns more expensive. For their money, customers will also receive otherwise set controls or adaptive shock absorbers. In short, Alpina once again proves that it can squeeze the full amount out of BMW models.
