It has been known for a while that studio Legendary Entertainment is working on a reboot of The Toxic Avenger from 1984 by directors Michael Herz and Lloyd Kaufman. Recently, more and more names have been mentioned that will be featured in the new film.
Earlier it became clear that Peter Dinklage from among others Game of Thrones on Avengers: Infinity War will be featured in director’s film Macon Blair, known for, among other things, I Don’t Feel at Home in This World Anymore. from 2017.
Now it is Kevin Bacon (Cop Car, X: First Class) who will play the villain in Toxic Avenger. This was announced through The Hollywood Reporter. Other roles are for Taylour Paige and Jacob Tremblay.
