“We continue to make rapid progress in the vaccination process against Covid-19 in our city. Again we finish the vaccines that we had for the first doses. The second doses are assured. We will be attentive to information from the National Government for the arrival of more vaccines,” he said the president on his Twitter account.
In addition, he explained that the city has received more than 250,000 vaccines and of these, almost 230,000 have already been applied. “We only have 20,000 in second dose inventories,” he said.
In the afternoon of last Thursday the mayor’s office had distributed 4,944 first doses of the vaccine from the Pfizer laboratory, however, this Saturday morning they were exhausted.
“We are waiting for information from the Government to be able to tell people with absolute clarity, when we are going to be able to restart the application of the first doses,” explained the president of the Bumangues.
At the moment only people who are waiting to receive their second dose will be able to approach the different vaccination points, to continue with the immunization process.
Faced with this scenario, the mayor asked for patience from those who were waiting this weekend to obtain the first dose of the vaccine.
