Drugs seized and three men arrested

As early as the spring of this year, intensive investigations by the Wrzburg criminal police led to the track of a 31-year-old who is said to be trading in drugs, in particular amphetamines, marijuana and crystal meth by the kilo. When the suspect’s apartment was searched, the Wrzburg criminal police found around 600 grams of amphetamine, among other things, on Wednesday morning. The 31-year-old and two other suspects aged 28 and 22 are now in custody at the request of the Wrzburg public prosecutor and a court order.

On the basis of the criminal investigation findings, the Wrzburg public prosecutor obtained a search warrant for a building with an adjoining barn in the Marktheidenfeld area. At around 6 a.m., the drug investigators entered the property with the support of forces from the USK Wrzburg, the riot police and service dog handlers from the Wrzburg Operative Supplementary Services. In supposedly good hiding places they found a total of 600 grams of amphetamine, around 300 grams of marijuana, small amounts of LSD, MDMA, hashish, psilocybin mushrooms, so-called magic mushrooms and drugs containing narcotics. A 31-year-old and his roommate nine years younger were arrested.

In the course of the follow-up investigations, there were indications of the drug trade by another suspect. At the request of the public prosecutor’s office, a search warrant was issued for this residential property as well. In the 28-year-old, tiny amounts of narcotics as well as narcotics items that indicate drug trafficking were found. After a short manhunt, the man was picked up and arrested.

All three men were subsequently brought before the investigating judge, who issued an arrest warrant on the basis of an urgent suspicion of dealing with narcotics in no small amount. After the arrest warrants were opened, the accused were taken to various prisons.
