The SPD therefore asked Minister Dorn in the committee today to quickly increase the “Into the Free” program, which is part of the second cultural package. As the master of redistribution, the minister stated that she was also thinking of an increase by reallocating funds that had not been used in other parts of the program. But that’s not enough. “What the minister is doing is really big,” said Sommer. “With such small financial maneuvers, every sum can be marketed twice. It’s clever, but it’s not a good style. Many organizers are currently disappointed that they came away empty-handed. The state government, which has calculated poorly, is to blame. We would have liked that Schwarzgrün not only recognized that many organizers presented clever hygiene and safety concepts and conceptually prepared themselves well for the cultural summer during the Corona period, but also model projects, such as model concerts as they took place in other countries, initiated in order to gain concrete experience. “
