At a time when the industry, concerts and performances most affected by the pandemic were completely idle, the creative spirit of the musicians was reflected in the recording studios. Maestro Raimonds Pauls and the colorful Kurzeme woman, singer Ance Krauze, have also joined their new album, recording and releasing the album “Sasala Jurina”, which contains energetic and sonorous Suiti songs in the new Maestro finishes, reports the publishing house “MicRec”.

“The folk songs that I sing here with Raimonds Pauls’ unique vision are a new way to identify the folk songs of their people. No matter in which region the narrator lived, no matter when and who wrote the songs, they are our common heritage,” said Ance Krauze.
“When creating this music album, I would like to say a big thank you to my former music school teacher Dace Nasteviča – a musicologist, a professional in her field, from whom I collected only a rich suiti song. Thanks to Dace, I have been feeling like a “fish in water” since childhood, singing suiti messages. I feel proud and honored that the folk songs of my native region were chosen by Maestro Raimonds Pauls for their decoration. To ‘like us’ and ‘Maestro art’, listen to ‘once’ and be sure ‘until’. “
The recording featured: Ance Krauze (voice), Raimonds Pauls (piano), Artis Orubs (percussion), Oskars Sproģis (bass), Gints Stankevičs (keyboard instruments), Edvīns Ozols (bass), Raimonds Macats (keyboard instruments). Recorded, mixed and mastered by Gints Stankevičs. The recording was produced by Raimonds Pauls and Gints Stankevičs (“Factory sounds studio”).
