- Good experiences with vaccination teams in Göpelingen
- Further vaccinations will start next week

After vaccinations against the coronavirus were carried out directly in Gröpelingen in May, there will be further offers in other parts of the city in the coming weeks. The Bremen health department announced. Temporary vaccination stations will be set up again for the offers, this time in the districts of Huchting, Tenever and Blumenthal.
“In the course of the pandemic, we have repeatedly seen that infections are distributed differently in the city. Poverty, precarious employment, tight living space, all these are factors that favor rapid spread,” said Health Senator Claudia Bernhard (Left). It is precisely in these parts of the city that it is important to “protect the people of Bremen”.
Vaccination invitations are again distributed via daycare centers
Due to the positive experience in Gröpelingen, the vaccination invitations are again to be distributed primarily through day-care centers. “In Gröpelingen we made the experience that the employees in the day-care centers can function very well as multipliers. We are building on that again,” said Bernhard. The vaccine from Biontech is then inoculated again by helpers from the German Red Cross.
The dates for the time-limited offers for first and second vaccinations have already been set.
Primary vaccinations:
- Huchting: June 14th to 18th
- Tenever: June 21-24
- Blumenthal: June 28th to July 1st
Second vaccinations:
- Gröpelingen: July 5th to 9th
- Huchting: July 26th to 30th
- Tenever: August 2nd to 5th
- Blumenthal: August 9th to 12th.
