BEIJING – CEO and Founder Xiaomi Lei Jun was recently spotted visiting the Great Wall Motor Research and Development Center in China. The news comes after the company was previously rumored to be working with Great Wall Motor for its electric car project.
Quoted from Gizmochina, Thursday (10/6/2021), the CEO of the Chinese technology giant was seen at the Great Wall Motor R&D center earlier this week on June 8, 2021. However, neither Xiaomi nor Great Wall Motors disclosed the reason for Lei Jun’s visit.

Xiaomi Initially denied reports of an electric car project that will be realized in the next 10 years. But rumors Xiaomi will enter the car industry is getting brighter after they prepared about US $ 10 billion for investment.
As per previous reports, Xiaomi has negotiated with Great Wall Motors to use its factory to build its own electric smart car. Xiaomi is reportedly also in talks with several car manufacturers from China to prove its seriousness.
