O Almeria newspaper realizes, this Thursday, that the Spanish emblem has decided not to activate the purchase option, worth three million euros, of Ivanildo Fernandes and the central defender will return to Sporting to start the pre-season.
Ivanildo was loaned by the lions to Almería at the beginning of last season at the request of José Gomes, then coach, but the Portuguese coach’s departure precipitated the decision regarding the young defender’s future.
