Shotguns, pistols and heavy caliber ammunition was found in operations carried out by the Police on the border with Brazil to find a Bolivian woman, kidnapped and whose whereabouts are still unknown.
“Eight people who were in possession of large caliber weapons have been apprehended,” he said. Ángel Morales, director of the Special Force to Fight Crime (Felcc).
The police authority exhibited four shotguns, pistols and ammunition of the calibers 38, 7.62, 12, among others, which was confiscated from those apprehended.
Morales said that so far the whereabouts are unknown of the kidnapped woman; however, they have identified the person suspected of being the mastermind of the plagiarism, who is believed to have escaped with his victim to Brazil.
“He is a Brazilian citizen. It is coordinated with the Federal Police of Brazil to know the legal situation of this person, “he said.
