“The Portuguese spent the past 18 months on the bench of Benfica Lisbon, which he led to winning the Premier League title in his first season,” the English club stated in its opinion. Last season, Bruno Lage finished with Benfica in second place behind FC Porto.
Bruno location has previously worked in the Islands as an assistant coach at Sheffield Wednesday and Swansea City.
“I come to a club that wants to go down in history and be competitive in the Premier League. I am happy, excited and full of ambition to achieve something with this team, “ quoted the new Wolves coach as AFP.
After advancing from the second highest competition in 2018, the “Wolves” sensationally finished in seventh place in the Premier League table, and finished 13th in the league year last year.
