Deputy Ninel Peia will be expelled from PSD, following statements that disturbed the party’s leadership.
Liviu Dragnea, the president of the Social Democratic Party, asked the senator Gabriela Firea, the president of the PSD Ilfov organization, to take the statutory measures in connection with the public performance of the deputy Ninel Peia, a member of the Ilfov County Permanent Bureau, whose political statements contradict the provisions of the Statute and of the Code of Ethics and Conduct adopted by PSD at the Congress, is shown in a PSD communiqué.
The Ilfov County Permanent Bureau took the decision to exclude Ninel Peia from the party, the decision to be validated in the party’s superior leadership forums.
“I don’t know what Mr. Ninel Peia’s agenda is, but I regret to say that it is very different from that of PSD, and through his recent positions, made in his personal name, he places himself outside the party. We are in an election year and we do not allow any slippage, neither from the political line assumed by the party, nor from common sense “, said Liviu Dragnea.
