Mainfranken: This is how the corona vaccinations work

Across Germany, 46 percent of all people have now been vaccinated against Corona once. There are just as many in the city and district of Würzburg. This is shown by the latest figures from the district office. A total of around 132,300 people have been vaccinated once in the vaccination center, clinic or at the family doctor’s. In addition, there are about 73,700 people who have had two corona vaccinations. This corresponds to around 26 percent of the people in Würzburg and is thus above the national average of around 22 percent.

Development in Main-Spessart and Kitzingen according to district offices:

In the Main-Spessart district, around 52,600 people have so far been vaccinated against Corona in the vaccination center or at the family doctor. There are also around 25,800 second vaccinations. That corresponds to 20 percent of the population. Both vaccination rates are thus below the German average.

In the district of Kitzingen, the first vaccination rate is around 46 percent and thus exactly on the German average. In Kitzingen’s vaccination center or at the family doctor’s, a total of 42,200 people have been vaccinated against Corona once. There are also 19,500 second vaccinations. That is around 21 percent of the population and is thus below the national average.

Attention: The figures are partly not comparable, as there are no data on vaccinations in the clinics from Main-Spessart and Kitzingen. These are included in Würzburg.
