The group “audrú” offers dandelions a full video for the song “Netters” – Music

Indi’s music group “audrú” has released the song “Nettles”, creating the mood of a magical summer night. It also announces the start of work on the album “old stories”.

The band “audrú” gained the attention of the general public last year with the mini-album “the lighthouse trilogy”, which was nominated for the Latvian Music Record of the Year Award “Golden Microphone 2021” in the category of debutants of the year. In addition to working on the albums, the band also releases some singles, and this time it is the song “Nātre”, which has been in the band’s concert repertoire for several years, but has finally been recorded.

The song “Nettles” tells about acceptance, just like we do with natural processes, “nettles” or, as it is in the video, dandelions, which with their endurance and independence arouses admiration. Musically, the song was inspired by the sound of alternative rock music and also folk, ”reports the group’s PR camp. If it’s about the upcoming album, then it will consist of songs that have already stood the test of time in the group’s repertoire – hence the name “old stories”. The recording process takes place in Valmiera, in the studio “Hodila Records”, under the direction of producer Ģirts Laumanis or Lomikas.

A bit of history. The group “audrú” consists of four friends – Ieva Svētiņa, Gita Strazdiņa-Dzintara, Artūrs Dzintars and Jurģis Rāts, who are united by their love for music of various genres. As a group “audrú”, they have been playing together since 2017, so far they have given concerts in several Latvian cities, participated in the festivals “Bildes”, “Vegānfestivāls”, “VegFest Lt”, “Give & Get”. At the beginning of 2020, he won the second place and the audience sympathy award in the competition “Hadrons” organized by the University of Latvia and Radio NABA, and also participated in the charity marathon “Give Five!”.
