The strong heat of the summer has for consequence in Strasbourg in particular what one can call “island of heat”, in particular on the squares. The city of Strasbourg has set itself the objective of combating this phenomenon by revegetating the streets. Already last year, similar and ephemeral spaces were installed, in particular Place Kléber or near the Tribunal. The system is now developing in several districts such as Hautepierre.
