An unbelievable follower / resident quota (122.3 percent) that no other country comes close to. This is of course partly due to Ronaldo, who has over 295 million followers (!) On Instagram alone. Germany scores somewhat poorly in the population / follower comparison. With “only” 13 million social followers and 83.2 million inhabitants, Germany (rate: 15.6 percent) ranks ninth in the EM ranking – behind smaller nations such as Belgium and Wales.
