An ambulance during an emergency collided with a car

Troms police district reported the collision between the ambulance and the car at 19.21 on Monday night.

The ambulance was on call with a patient from another traffic accident when it collided with the car on national road 83 at Seljestad in Harstad.

– It appears that no one was injured in this accident, and the patient was transferred to another ambulance and transported to the emergency room, the police write.

The accident the patient had been involved in, happened at Kongsvik, and it was reported on Twitter at 18.18. A total of three people were involved in the collision between two cars.

Press officer Solveig Jacobsen at the University Hospital of Northern Norway says Harstad Tidende that those involved were two men in their 70s and one woman in their 70s.

– Fortunately, everyone was only slightly injured. One man will probably remain under observation, while the other two will probably be discharged tonight, she says.
