Outrageous! The caretaker Minister of Health is retiring Prof. Kantardjiev!

The Minister of Health Dr. Katsarov has retired the most colorful member of the Staff – Prof. Todor Kantardzhiev, from the post of director of the National Center for Infectious and Parasitic Diseases, writes Maritsa bg.

The news was confirmed by sources from the department. The motives are reaching retirement age.

The specialist dedicated 33 years of his life to the Center, climbing from the lowest step to the position of director.

His colleagues respect him very much. They swear that this is an incredible scholar and the only person who can tell the story of every corner.

The center took the first blows of the KOVID pandemic. The first test laboratory operated there.

The center has an extremely important role in the prevention of diseases and epidemics, as its specialists watch around the clock for AIDS, plague, cholera, Ebola and all sorts of other things.

It is not clear who will replace Prof. Kantardzhiev, who with the briefings had become a favorite of the people. Interestingly, he was hidden from regular press conferences for a long time, as he was clearly not a favorite of part of the previous state government.
