Sydney (VNA) – L’Vietnamese Embassy in Australia sent on June 5 the appeal of the Presidium of the Central Committee of the Fatherland Front of Vietnam (VFF) to Vietnamese residing in this country to raise funds for the fight against COVID-19 in Vietnam.
The embassy said that since the start of the pandemic, the entire Party, people and armed forces of Vietnam have taken drastic measures to combat COVID-19 in the spirit of “fighting the pandemic, c ‘is like fighting the enemy’. However, the epidemic has reappeared in cities and provinces with the number of cases of infection rising sharply since April 27.
On this occasion, the Association of Vietnamese Businesses in Australia also encouraged Vietnamese entrepreneurs around the world to contribute to purchase COVID-19 vaccines in Vietnam.
Recently, the Student Association Vietnamese in Australia also conveyed the call of the Vietnamese government and the VFF to the Vietnamese community in that country to help fight the pandemic. -VNA
