AKURAT.CO, Last week, Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella hinted that the company is working on the next generation of Windows operating system. Well, official information about the latest generation of Windows will be revealed on June 24.
Reporting from Ubergizmo, Sunday (6/6) the company has started sending out invitations to the event they will be hosting on June 24 at 11:00 ET. Surprisingly, not much has been leaked about the next-generation version of Windows. Microsoft itself has been working on variants of Windows 10, such as Windows 10X. It was originally designed for dual-screen devices, but then shifted focus before being scrapped.
“In fact, some of these are already reflected in the core of Windows in the creation of Windows Insider previews, for example the new application container technologies we are integrating into products such as Microsoft Defender Application Guard, enhanced Voice Typing experiences, and modern touch keyboards with key sizes, sounds, colors, and optimized animations,” explained Microsoft.
This next generation of Windows has been tested in recent months. For the past few months too, Microsoft has been working on a new app store for Windows. Nadella promises to unlock a better economy for developers and creators with the latest Windows.
Nadella’s special mention of “the next generation of Windows” is also interesting. Microsoft usually refers to everything as “Windows 10”, and this language can indicate that the company is preparing for more significant changes to the Windows branding than just the user interface.
