Could not pronounce his name
In 2018, Hello wrote that Her Majesty the Queen has had the nickname “Lilibet” all her life, because she could not pronounce the name “Elizabeth” when she was little.
Prince Philip referred to her by this nickname, and the queen used to sign letters with the nickname “Lilibet”.
Accusations of racism
In April, the Duke and Duchess were interviewed by Oprah Winfrey. Duchess Meghan and Prince Harry then claimed that members of the British royal family must have been worried about how dark skin their first child would get.
– At the same time as I was pregnant and there was talk that Archie did not get security and the title of prince, there were also conversations and worries about how dark skin he wanted when he was born, Duchess Meghan claims the exclusive interview.
She even has an African-American mother.
– What? Wait a minute now. What are you saying, exclaims Oprah Winfrey, who interviewed Meghan and Prince Harry.
– Who said this, she adds.
– There were conversations with Harry, I do not think I should say who he had those conversations with, it can be very harmful for those concerned. But it was about how dark the child was going to be, and what it “could potentially mean and look like”.
Buckingham Palace did not comment on the allegations in the interview.
The statement came, according to BBC, i in the wake of Buckingham Palace’s statement that they have started an investigation into allegations that Meghan has bullied employees.
Wanted two children
The couple announced their pregnancy in February, and revealed during the famous Oprah Winfrey interview in March that they were expecting a girl.
In the interview, they made it clear that they wanted two children, and that they did not want more children after the birth.
“Having a child, one or more, is wonderful. But having a boy and a girl, what more could you ask for? ” said the Duke to Oprah Winfrey in March.
