Jombang Hospital Nurse Doni Deadi Subaktiar (31) had the heart to abort the pregnancy of a high school student who waspregnanti. The bachelor from Kedungjati Village, Kabuh, Jombang, fed his girlfriend with an abortion drug.
Jombang Head of Criminal Investigation Unit, AKP Teguh Setiawan, said Doni aborted the victim, who was 2 months old at the time. The suspect once purchased an abortion drug online at the end of 2020.
“He has not confessed the type of medicine, he said he bought it online. We are doing an in-depth investigation. If there are clues from the suspect’s confession, we will track it down,” Teguh said when confirmed by reporters, Sunday (6/6/2021).
After receiving an abortion drug, nurse at the Central ICU at the Jombang Hospital, he ordered his girlfriend to take the drug late last year. To the girl from Peterongan District, Jombang, he said the drug was to launch menstruation.
“The victim doesn’t know that she is taking abortion pills. Only after miscarriage he realized it was an abortion drug,” explained Teguh.
The 17-year-old girl then complained to her parents. Because of her boyfriend’s actions, the 12th grade high school student became pregnant and miscarried. His parents also urged Doni to immediately marry the victim.
“The reason the perpetrator aborted his lover’s womb was because he was not married, he didn’t want to have children first. For the time being, the victim was single,” said Teguh.

The nurse at the Central ICU at the Jombang Hospital was arrested by the police on May 31. That same day he was detained at the Jombang Police Detention Center. Doni was charged with Article 81 of the Republic of Indonesia Law number 17 of 2016 concerning Child Protection.
