The number of new hospital admissions per day is also doing well. Currently, every day are averaged 74 new covid patients admitted. So here we are diving below 75, which is again a psychological limit. Less than 75 admissions a day was put forward by experts and politicians at the end of last year as the limit to be able to start with relaxation.
The experts kept hammering on that number in recent months, but politicians decided – mainly because it was going too slowly – to put that limit aside and to implement relaxation anyway. Now, a few days before a lot of relaxation will start again, we are there now.
