In the event “What could be better than this”. Mārtiņš Rītiņš’s Talents ”, whose management was entrusted to actor Gundars Āboliņš and TV personalities Baiba Sipeniece-Gavare and Valters Krauzs, was enriched by many well-known artists who are long-time friends of Mārtiņš Rītiņš: opera singer Inese Galante, together, the entertainer once participated in the TV show “Sing with a Star”; LNO soloist Ilona Bagele with accompanying group of musicians, singer and participant of “Chicago Five” Lorija Vuda, Normunds Rutulis, “New Midsummer Orchestra”, Aminata, Ieva Akuratere, Varis Vētra, vocal group “Framest”, MC orchestra, artist Olita Patmalniec Rajecka, Aigars Grāvers and other guests.
The concert featured a duo sung by Rītiņš and Martinsone from EL Weber’s “The Ghost of Opera”, Raimonds Pauls’ song “We, Funny Cooks” from the film “Vella’s Servants”, M. Brown’s song “Love is Like Fire” (interpreted by “Martin’s Choir”); the brothers of the party had come especially to this event, and their association “Brāļi Rītiņi” prepared two performances – Jāzeps Vītols “Fire of Fire” and “Mozzarts 4 concert Flaunders & Son”; Jānis Lūsēns’ “Dove Hymn” and other compositions were performed.
Guests were also offered to enjoy snacks prepared by chefs, an ice show, a painting master class led by Elita Patmalniece, a bartender show, a “chocolate explosion” and other surprises.

Mārtiņš Rītiņš (born on October 19, 1949) is a Latvian chef and businessman. According to Wikipedia, he graduated from Westminster Technical College in London in 1971. From the mid-1970s to the early 1990s, he worked for various catering companies in the hotel chain Grand Metropolitan Hotels. From 1984 to 1992, he was the owner of Martins Catering Ltd in Toronto. In 1993, Rītiņš moved to Latvia. In 1994, he became the director and chef of the newly established restaurant “Vincents”, but in 2017, the management of the restaurant was handed over to the sommelier Raimonds Tomsons.

In 1995, he started directing the television program “What could be better than this?”, The filming of which was stopped in 2015. In 2007 he was awarded the Order of the Three Stars. In 2018, Mārtiņš Rītiņš returned to LNT with the program “Tuč, tuč Rītiņš”.
