A special vaccination day at Roeli’s Event Venue on the Kronenburgweg in Suriname has mobilized hundreds of people today. There was a long line of people who wanted to be vaccinated.
More than 1,000 people were waiting in line. Many of them are young people. Awareness among Surinamese and the willingness to vaccinate seems to have increased, now that there are daily corona deaths and hundreds of people are infected.
