Snapdragon 895 is next year’s high-end chip from Qualcomm

Many including me were shocked when Qualcomm this year jumped directly from 865 to 888. It was not expected at all. But next year it is said that order will be restored.

In 2022, it is said that the company’s high-end chip will be called Snapdragon 895, which in such cases would mean that Qualcomm would go back to where the company started with its naming. Whether that will be the case, however, remains to be seen.
