The shooting of the notable Latvian film “Warhunt”, which featured Hollywood and domestic film industry experts, has ended, and the filmmakers offer to look behind the scenes, where Latvian actors such as Mickey Ruck, Jackson Retbo, Robert Knepper and director acted alongside Latvian actors. The film “Warhunt” is a military thriller about the Second World War, the scenes of which were shot at the Latvian Ethnographic Open-Air Museum, Līgatne forests and caves, Bolderāja and elsewhere.
Filming started last year lasted about half a year and the editing and processing of the film took the same amount of time. This year, the film is completed and negotiations are underway with several potential buyers of the film.

Hollywood star Mickey Ruck plays the lead role in the famous director Mauro Borelli’s film “Warhunt”. Well-known domestic actors – Dainis Grūbe, Rihards Lepers, Jurijs Djakandovs and Ieva Segliņa – participate in the film.
The producers of the film are Maksims Pavlovs, Igors Proins and Jūlija Zaiceva, Svetlana Punte from the Latvian producers’ association Forma Pro Films, as well as Adels Nurs from Atomik Content (Los Angeles, USA).
Jānis Timma, the head of the crowd investment platform Crowdestor, who has invested 1.7 million euros in the film, comments that one of the preconditions for the project was to attract local producers, so it was decided to shoot the film in Latvia with the opportunity to attract Latvian actors. and other professionals involved in the making of the film.
