In the end, many Indonesian celebrities have opened up opportunities to seek opportunities in other fields, one of which is the culinary business. This is also what the celebrity couple, Yati Octavia and are doing Pangky Suwito.
As is known, this couple was once at the peak of popularity as soap opera stars. Even their fee at that time was the most expensive.
However, now they are no longer visible on the small screen. Evidently Yati Octavia and Pangky Suwito is in a new profession as a martabak traders.
“Initially I was appointed as a commissioner of one company. There are restaurants, there are hotels,” said Pangky Suwito, quoted from the Trans TV YouTube channel.
“Well, there’s a martabak restaurant over there, I said, we’ll just make it like this, make several outlets, until there are 50 outlets,” continued one of the stars in the soap opera Jihan, which aired in 2008.
Besides martabak, Yati Octavia and Pangky Suwito also already has other businesses that are still the same in the culinary field. Both also focus on selling fried duck.
No half-hearted, in fact they already have at least 200 branches in several cities in Central Java and DI Yogyakarta.
“In Purwokerto, Yogyakarta, Central Java, everything is already there,” said Yati and Pangky.
Yati Octavia said that initially, many people looked down on the business she was involved in. They thought that the actress who had shaved her hair for an act had turned her back on the culinary business because it was no longer selling well in the entertainment industry.
“Sometimes like this, yes. We sell martabak, people say we are bankrupt,” he said Yati Octavia.
“Even though I don’t know how much (income) is from one outlet,” he continued.
