Two Azerbaijani journalists working for state media died in a landmine explosion in the Kalbajar district on Friday.
It was recently rebuilt by Armenian separatists after last year’s Nagorno-Karabakh war, AFP reported.
“Azerbaijani TV operator AzTV Sirai Abishev and AzerTag employee Mageram Ibragimov died in the line of duty in the Kalbajar district. They were blown up by a landmine,” TV chairman Rovshan Mammadov wrote on Facebook.
