Tuxpan, Ver. – After losing the battle against a chronic disease that he had been suffering from for some years, the former federal deputy for the 03 district in the legislative period from 2012 to 2015 for the Institutional Revolutionary Party (PRI), Genaro Ruiz Arriaga, lost his life this Friday .

The also former sub secretary of livestock and fisheries in the state and former president of the regional livestock union of northern Veracruz and president of the local livestock of the municipality of Naranjos, after occupying these positions he left politics to address the problem of health that was detected.
Ruiz Arriaga held various positions from 1999 to 2004 State Agricultural Counselor of Veracruz, later from 2000 to 2004 he received the position of President of the Committee for the Promotion and Protection of Livestock of Veracruz and from 2005 to 2008 he headed the Undersecretariat of Livestock and Fisheries of Veracruz .
Subsequently, from 2010 to 2011 he had the opportunity to be a local Deputy in the LXII Legislature of the Congress of Veracruz and there he was appointed President of the Health and Assistance Commission, thanks to the career he had completed, in addition to also being a Member of the Special Commission for the Agroindustry.
Among other positions that I hold outside the political sphere, they were a member of the board of BANCOMER SA, Regional Director of Serfin, President of the Group of Merchants and Entrepreneurs of Naranjos and President of the Board of Directors of the Unión de Crédito Regional del Norte de Veracruz.
Former federal deputy Genaro Ruíz Arriaga is survived by his family, wife and children, to whom the people of Tuxpeños immediately sent their condolences.
