Weekend thunderstorm: From what time and where is the rainfall expected – National

The Directorate of Meteorology and Hydrology issued this Friday a special alert bulletin regarding the imminent entry into Paraguayan territory of a storm system that could occur on Saturday afternoon.

This would have as a consequence rains with up to 80 millimeters of water accumulation, high frequency of electrical discharges and winds of up to 100 kilometers per hour.

These phenomena would affect the center, south and east of the country, starting with the southern departments such as Itapúa, Ñeembucú, Misiones or Paraguarí from the end of Saturday afternoon, and extending in the following hours to Central, Presidente Hayes, Cordillera, Guairá, Caazapá, Caaguazú, San Pedro, Concepción, Alto Paraná and Canindeyú.

The storms are expected to continue to hit at least until Sunday afternoon.
