In Ukraine, due to the increase in the minimum wage, they propose to increase the tax on cars. It must be paid by the owners of “elite cars”. Now these are considered those who have not reached the age of 5 years and cost at least 375 minimal salaries (UAH 2.2 million). With an increase in the minimum wage, the number of taxpayers decreases.
This is stated in OBOZREVATEL material… For example, with a minimum wage of 4.7 thousand UAH, it was necessary to pay for cars, the cost of which is from 1.7 million UAH.… The Cabinet of Ministers proposes that all car owners pay tax on cars, the price of which exceeds 200 minimum wages. Now it is UAH 1.2 million. The tax amount is 25 thousand UAH. It is paid once a year.

The president Vladimir Zelensky at his press conference announced the tax reform in Ukraine. And although the document is still under the approval of the Ministry of Finance, Cabinet of Ministers already managed to approve it. The most scandalous innovations concern an increase in the rent on iron ore, they want to increase the rates of the environmental tax by three times.
