(CRHoy.com) .- The Criminal Court of Finance and Public Function suspended the official of the Costa Rican Social Security Fund (CCSS) who is being investigated for an alleged false vaccination in La Unión.
It is about a man named Arrieta González, who appears as a suspect of committing the alleged crime of breach of duties.
The Public Prosecutor’s Office of La Unión confirmed that after his request, Precautionary measures were ordered such as the suspension of the position and, due to the danger of flight, the impediment of leaving the country.
Likewise, you must appear to sign once a month and maintain a fixed address.
Last April, the Criminal Court rejected the precautionary measures and after an appeal from the Public Ministry a new hearing was ordered.
The case arose after a video was published, in which Arrieta, a CCSS official, was applying the COVID-19 vaccine to an older adult, but the recording shows how he did not perform the procedure correctly.
