The car was parked in the sun when it was locked, with the keys to the car still inside the vehicle. “It was urgent, because it quickly became too hot due to the sun. Once on site, action was taken quickly,” said the police on Twitter.

With no other options, the police decided to smash the window furthest from the toddler. Shocked and sweaty, the 2-year-old was able to cry with his mother. The police gave him a teddy bear as comfort.
