Promotion, prevention, curative: at the crossroads of health practices

Our apologies, this entry is only available in French.

Hit hard by the blaze of inequalities in this pandemic period, our audiences, more than anyone else, deserve that we compare our practices in order to improve them.

Do you work in the outpatient sector? Are you involved in the Health Promotion sector?

Come imagine and build the bridges between these two sectors during a first half-day of discussions scheduled for June 18 (two more scheduled for fall 2021).

These meetings will be an opportunity to highlight projects at the crossroads of practices to feed the discussion. The idea is to bring out the expertise of the actors so that each one learns from the other through a series of questions:

How to ensure complementarity between health promotion and prevention and first-line curative services? What strategy adopt to make this complementarity effective? How to achieve a comprehensive and integrated approach to aid and care?

3 half days planned:

  • 06/18/2021 morning GROUP 1 – Guest: Samusocial
  • two more scheduled for fall 2021 (information to come)

Participation is limited to 12 participants to promote discussion and debate. The participants will be drawn equally from workers in the health promotion sector and the outpatient sector. Participation is free and registration is compulsory by return email to the following address ewetz (@) cbcs (.) Irisnet (.) Be

These half-days are organized by the Brussels Sociopolitical Coordination Council in collaboration with the Brussels Federation for Health Promotion, the Brussels Center for Health Promotion, the association Cultures & Health, the Federation of Social Services and the Federation of Medical Homes.
