Despite the differences that Princes Harry and William may have at the moment, something that keeps them always together is their love for their mother, the late Princess Diana.
It was recently revealed that the royal siblings donated their mother’s iconic wedding dress to the exhibition ‘Royal Style in the Making’, which has already opened at Kensington Palace.
The beautiful model with which Diana gave the yes to Prince Charles the July 29, 1981 in the cathedral of St Paul of London, is the centerpiece of the show, which also includes other significant pieces in the evolution of the style of British royalty, such as the dress that Maria wore in 1937, the queen mother of Elizabeth II, at the coronation of her husband, King George IV.

The ex-partner Elizabeth and David Emanuel They were in charge of creating this voluminous bridal gown in silk taffeta with puffed sleeves, decorated with bows, ruffles and more than 10,000 sequins, which turned the royal wedding into a worldwide spectacle.
The design features an overlay bodice, crafted from antique lace panels, obtained from costumes that belonged to Queen Mary, Charles’s great-grandmother, as well as a queue more than 7 meters long, being the most extensive dressed in the British royal family.
The exhibition will be available until January 2022, in the conservatory in Kensington Gardens and explores the relationship between British designers and the royal family, as well as the work of these English creators.
