One of the things that drove the arrival of the new generation of consoles from Sony is that it started the PlayStation 5 generation with the launch of several exclusive titles. Some of them will surely never reach other consoles, but there is a possibility of seeing them on PC and everything seems to indicate that one or the other could reach the hands of Microsoft.
Something that seems quite curious to us is the fact that there are other exclusives that seem temporary, so they have the doors open for a launch on Xbox systems, for example. According to a recent clue, a title that is now exclusive to PlayStation on consoles would be on its way to Microsoft systems and we’re talking Oddworld: Soulstorm.
ODDWORLD: SOULSTORM COULD COME SOON TO XBOX CONSOLES
Sony and Oddworld Inhabitants have reached an agreement. Oddworld: Soulstorm will be shown exclusively on the PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 consoles. The game was released on PC at the same time, and also reached an exclusive deal with Epic Games.
Therefore, Oddworld: Soulstorm is not available on any Microsoft or Nintendo console. However, in fact, the title is temporarily exclusive to PlayStation, so sooner or later we will see it on more systems.
A recent clue indicates that the game is about to land on Xbox One. According to Xbox Era (via GamingBolt), the most recent installment received a console rating from Microsoft in Brazilian institutions. So far, neither Oddworld Inhabitants nor Xbox have confirmed such a release. If it’s real, the title could also make its way to Xbox Series X / S.
Given that, some players are hoping it will debut on Xbox Game Pass, but we’ll have to wait to find out more about it. With E3 2021 approaching, some fans of the franchise expect the migration to Xbox systems to be confirmed in a few days, so we will keep you on the lookout.
