The shooting of the action flick “Mission: Impossible 7” has been stopped because of a positive coronavirus test on the set.
A spokesman for the Paramount production confirmed the break in filming until June 14th, as the industry papers “Variety” and “Hollywood Reporter” reported. However, there was no information about the person concerned. The case was discovered during routine testing, it said.
The film, with Tom Cruise as agent Ethan Hunt and directed by Christopher McQuarrie, is currently being shot in England. In February 2020, the start of shooting in Italy was canceled at short notice with the start of the corona pandemic. Filming had only just started at this point. In September, Cruise’s team was back in front of the camera. The seventh part of the “Mission: Impossible” agent saga is slated to hit cinemas in May 2022.
