O Singularity 6, a new studio composed of former veterans of Riot Games and Blizzard, announced that it is developing its first project: Palia, an MMORPG inspired by Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Animal Crossing e Stardew Valley. Check out the trailer above!
According to the developers, the game is a different approach to the genre, which offers a “communities simulator in a fantasy world”.
Instead of looting dungeons, summoning spells or other classic MMORPG elements, the goal of Palia it’s more about bringing people together in a single world full of varied activities, ranging from dating NPCs and taking care of farms to accepting missions with combat and facing creatures.
In a press release, the studio explained that the idea was born in the midst of the new coronavirus pandemic, which has forced many countries to implement social isolation.
The game will have an alpha testing phase soon, and if you want to participate, just register at official site.
Palia It’s not scheduled for release yet, but it’s confirmed for PC.
