Representatives of the New Conservative Party (JKP) Ilgas Abolition of Šuplinsk from the post of Minister of Education, after which she left the party, was the joint decision of the whole coalition, not the will of the JKP, claimed the LTV program “Today’s Issue” newly appointed Minister of Education Anita Muižniece. –
The landlord revealed that the party leader Jānis Bordāns addressed her about the opportunity to hold the position of the Minister of Education only at the beginning of this week, and all this “was quite fast in the last days”.
She argued that the change of minister “was not an initiative from our party” but a joint agreement between the coalition partners on what are the key points that could be improved.
The nobleman said that when three ministers are replaced, there are also issues about “so far less strong places”, and this was a joint decision of all partners.
However, she could not say exactly whether anyone specifically requested the replacement of Šuplinskis as a minister.
CONTEXT:
This week, the parties agreed that further the coalition will have four parties – JKP, “For Development / For!”, NA and “New Unity”. The current positions of “KPV LV” ministers will be divided. By signing a memorandum of cooperation, the coalition agreed to prioritize the strengthening and development of export-capable companies. The Saeima faction of the party “KPV LV” will vote in accordance with its views after exclusion from the coalition.
The landlord will replace Ilga Šuplinska, who has headed the Ministry of Education and Science (MES) since the inception of Krišjānis Kariņš’s government and which “by agreement of all government partners” decided to replace, followed by Šuplinska announced his resignation no JKP.
