Current vaccination status in the Munich district

The district office of Munich reported 200,077 vaccinations yesterday that had been carried out by then. 139,233 citizens have already received a vaccination. This corresponds to almost 40 percent of the district’s population. 60,844 of them have already received the second vaccination and thus have complete vaccination protection.

Vaccinations in doctor’s offices

A little more than every fourth vaccination has meanwhile been administered in a doctor’s office. The doctors have already injected Covid-19 56,632 times, including 10,250 times for a second vaccination. From next Monday, June 7, 2021, company and private doctors will also be allowed to vaccinate.

Still only second vaccinations in the vaccination centers

For this week, the district of Munich has announced more than 10,000 vaccination doses, but these are all needed for second vaccinations. How many vaccination doses will arrive next week – and whether this also includes contingents for further initial vaccinations – is not yet known to the district office. In the general practices, which order their vaccine quantities separately, mostly second vaccinations are currently administered.
