Angry after Risma’s subordinates, PDIP officially withdraws support for Alor Regent

Amon’s verbal abuse was recorded in a video which later went viral on social media. He was upset and accused the Ministry of Social Affairs of channeling the Family Hope Program (PKH) aid to DPRD members instead of him.

“Today the PDI-P DPP has revoked the recommendation and support for Amon Jobo as Alor Regent,” said a member of the Indonesian House of Representatives from the Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle. PDIP Andreas Hugo Pareira in a written statement on Wednesday.

Amon asked the central government not to play politics in distributing social assistance to poor families. So that assistance must still be entrusted to the local government to be distributed to those who are entitled. Not through Parliament.
